The THH3 captures clear thermal imaging and leverages a refined user interface to quickly detect objects of interest in complete darkness and through glaring light or haze. A rugged, IP67-rated housing and intuitive controls allow single-hand operation in harsh weather conditions, maintaining reliable thermal imaging in the most demanding outdoor environments.
Difference between THH3 and other competitors on the market :
Some monoculars in the market use 0.25” LCOS screen of which the resolution is 720*540 while THH3 uses 0.39” 1024*768 AMOLED, the clearance and image performance is at least 4 times better than LCOS. Especially when under a low-temperature environment of -40℃ THH3 can still work without problem but other imagers with LCOS screen can not work even under -15℃. The cost difference between OLED and LCOS is approx 250USD
THH3 can be immersed in water without a problem and can hold a drop from 2 meters, while Some monocular in the market can not take.
Some monoculars in the market are made from Chinese detectors while THH3 uses the latest Generation detector from ULIS, of which the image quality, stability, and reliability are much higher than Chinese detectors, especially when used after 2 years in low temperature and high humidity environment. The cost difference between western and Chinese detectors is about 300USD.
